often pertaining to a particular topic. It is an online journal/diary that is available on the Internet.
"Blogging" is the act of writing in a blog.

Wix is similar to Squarespace. It allows you to put together your web presence via drag and drop and
comes with blogging ability that you can add to your site.

Medium is a publishing platform founded in 2012 by one of the people behind Twitter. By now, it has
become a popular community for writers, bloggers, and journalists.

4. Squarespace.com

Squarespace is a drag-and-drop website builder which is aimed at small business owners. It’s a great all-
in-one solution for non-technical people and offers hosting, domain registration, and the possibility for e-
commerce. It also has blogging capabilities which are the reason why it’s among the best blog sites out
there.

5. Weebly.com

Weebly is another site builder with a modular approach and a web-based interface. Pick a template and
position your content as blocks in different areas.

3. Why does blogging so popular?

Blogging is popular among teenagers especially to those aspiring writers in order to express their
thoughts in a form of text. an excellent tool to express and share your thoughts, experiences, skills,
pieces of knowledge, news and everything. Because in blog life your free to share ideas.

Another reason why blogging is popular is that blogs are becoming a more popular tool to generate
money from online advertisements. Even though most bloggers don’t make a lot of money blogging, but
there is significant potential. All you need is dedication, hard work, practice, and patience.
4. What might be the reasons for blogging?

1. Attract an Audience

Blogging enables you to reach the billions of people that use the Internet. Blogging can help you
promote yourself or your business. Blogging works as a method for attracting an audience because it
provides something of value to them before asking for anything in return.

2. Create Opportunities

Blogging can lead to other business/traffic generating opportunities. For example, speaking
engagements or press. I’ve had people contact me to speak at conferences who found me through my
blog. Blogging enables anyone with something interesting or valuable to say to be identified as an
expert.

3. Organize Your Thoughts and Learn

Blogging forces you to teach yourself what you don’t know and to articulate what you do know. When
you begin writing a blog post, you are forced to organize your thoughts. If there are any gaps in the topic
that you are writing about, you will have to learn about it. Writing out and articulating your thoughts is a
great way to internalize something you’ve learned or experienced. Writing helps you become more
familiar with the topic you’re writing about.

Blogging enables you to be your own media company. You can tell your story the way you want to tell it
without being dependent on journalists. When you are writing about a topic of your own interest, you
can decide how to portray a story, what information to include, and what information to exclude.

The audience you attract through blogging doesn’t have to just be your “audience.” They can become
your friends, colleagues, partners, or lovers. I’ve had many people reach out to me directly after reading
my blog. Some of those people have become friends or good business contacts.

A blog originally came from the word “weblog” or a “weblog”.Blogging is purely text-based. You explain
everything with text. You can think of it as an online journal or diary, although blogs are used for much
more now, like online journalism.

Vlogging is a video blog where you use video to explain everything or a mixture of video & text
sometimes. Vlog posts are created by creating a video of yourself or an event and uploading it to the
Internet. For vlogging, you can create a youtube account (using your Gmail id) and start uploading videos
on your channel. For example, people create youtube channels where they upload videos about cooking
lessons, educational videos, etc.
