SAN SEBASTIAN COLLEGE - RECOLETOS LAW SCHOOL COURSE TITLE: LEGAL ETHICS COURSE DESCRIPTION: This Course deals with the duties which a Filipino lawyer owes to the society, the bench, the bar and the client. It would also deal with the right and proper conduct to be observed by all judges, also lawyers in their own right, in performing their adjudicative and administrative duties. COURSE OBJECTIVES: At the end of the course, law students are expected to be: 1. Better prepared for the State Bar Examinations on Legal Ethics 2. Empowered in their future legal practice as decent, moral, scrupulous and conscientious legal professionals, working to promote the greatest good in their chosen practice areas; and, 3. Assured of credibility as Filipino legal practitioners, very much enabled to navigate the delicate balance of conflicting interests presented by their lawyers’ duties.
