Pilar abra is a municipality in the province of abra. and pilar has a 19 barangay, and according to 2015
cencus pilar has a 10,223 in population. the center of the municipality of pilar is Poblacion,Poblacion is a
barangay in the municipality of Pilar, in the province of Abra. Its population as determined by the 2015
Census was 1,784. This represented 17.45% of the total population of Pilar.Historical population

The population of Poblacion grew from 1,266 in 1990 to 1,784 in 2015, an increase of 518 people. The
latest census figures in 2015 denote a positive growth rate of 0.89%, or an increase of 81 people, from
the previous population of 1,703 in 2010.

which i am concern about the issues of roads and water supply in Poblacion, pilar.

ROAD

The three most damaging effects of road construction and management are noise, dust and vibrations.
Noise mainly occurs during road construction phases but it can also occur to a lesser degree during
maintenance operations. Dust is created during the construction of gravel roads and unbound aggregate
layers.. Excess dust production can be treated by means such as watering, the use of alternative
materials, and by using dust binders near houses. Vibration can be caused by uneven road surfaces and
can pose significant impacts and problems to houses close to the source.

to solve those noise, dust and vibrations, the government should give some funds to re contruct the
roads for us to travel well and also to arrive to our destinstion fast.

Water supply

Shortages of water could become a major obstacle to public health and development. Currently, the
United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) estimate that 1.1
billion people lack access to a water supply and 2.6 billion people lack adequate sanitation. The global
health burden associated with these conditions is staggering, with an estimated 1.6 million deaths every
year from diseases associated with lack of access to safe drinking water, inadequate sanitation and poor
hygiene. In this paper we review the impact of water shortages on health and human development.

to solve these water shortage, the government should find a good source of water, and construct it to
supply a water in barangay poblacion pilar abra.
