Guidelines for IBSC Assessment

About IBSC:
IBSC was established in the year 2018, and its founder members are Andhra Pradesh
MedTech Zone (AMTZ), National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies
(NABCB) and Association of Indian Manufactures of Medical Devices (AiMeD). IBSC
has also signed the MoU with the Association of Advancement of Medical
Instrumentation (AAMI), USA, which is the largest professional body for certifying
biomedical practitioners. IBSC certified candidates will have equal opportunities to
practice biomedical profession globally.

IBSC Assessment:
Candidates can take the assessment in their college itself at their convenient time.

Application Process:
Step 1: Candidates need to register at this link https://ibsc-amtz.online-ap1.com/#no-
back-button candidates to need to fill the registration form and upload their last
semester marksheet.

Step 2: IBSC team will review and approve their application

Step 3: Your faculty will organize 1 / 2 days orientation on each module followed with
assessment.

Step 4: IBSC team will share the test login & password to the registered candidates.
They will take assessment in the presence of BME faculty.

Step 5: Results will analyse and intimate to the candidates. For those who qualified
need to pay INR 900 per module to generate certificate. For those who not qualified
they can re-appear for the assessment. (new test date will be decided by HoD / IBSC
team. If required candidates may need to visit nearest college to take assessment)

Step 6: For those who pay the fee will issue the Certificate.
IBSC Pattern:
Number of Modules: 15
Number of Questions in each module: 30 (multiple choice questions)
Time for each module: 90 mins
Qualification: 60% (i.e. 18 questions should be correct answers)
Fee: INR 900 per module (after qualification only)

Note: To take IBSC assessment candidate no need pay fee, upon qualification need
to pay INR 900 per module to get certification. In case, candidate not qualified in
module he/she is not required to pay fee. Such candidate can take re-assessment in
respective modules.
