Bent Over

As Jesus was leaving the Temple
where he had been teaching,
he saw a poor lady
all bent over.

The lady could not stand up.
Her back was sore
and she always walked
bent right over.

Jesus felt sorry for the poor lady.
She had been like this
for a long, long time.
Only Jesus could make her better.

 Jesus bent right down,
so she could see him.
He took her by the hand.
“I can make you well,” he said.

 Straight away
the lady stood up.
It was a miracle!
Jesus had made her back better!

 Everyone was amazed.
Doctors could not fix her bent back,
but Jesus did!
The lady was so happy.

 Everywhere Jesus went
people followed him
and saw him make sick people well.
Nothing is too hard for Jesus.
