§ MARCH DRILL PLANNING: January heralds the March 8th Daylight Savings Drill 2-month countdown. Please
review your checklist for the drill. Visit the website at http://www.nrgmarin.org/drills.html for resources and
training guidelines, and to download the Drill Down Checklist. March 10 is scheduled for the post-drill debrief
meeting at the Corte Madera Community Center, from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. Details to follow. Please save the date.

§ UPDATE ON NRG COORDINATOR RECRUITMENT: Recruitment is ongoing for the NRG Coordinator
position. The first round of interviews took place on January 28 and we hope to have the position filled soon.
Grateful thanks to the Advisory Committee for keeping the program functional until the position is filled, and to
Corte Madera Town Manager Todd Cusimano and his team for coordinating and overseeing the recruitment.

§ NRG WEBSITE: We are in the process of updating the website and making improvements to enhance
functionality and ease of use. We welcome your feedback. Please check your NRG’s listing on the website and

§ BIANNUAL EDUCATION EVENTS: The Education Sub-Committee has selected the following dates for the
NRG’s two annual education events: March 31st and October 1st. Stay tuned for details.

§ UPDATED FORMS: We are grateful to the Forms Sub-Committee for revising and updating the forms available
on the NRG website. They are currently in the process of organizing forms for ease of reference and use.

§ CURRENT RADIO CALL SIGNS: Attached is Version 19 of the Central Marin NRG FRS/GMRS Radio Channel
Assignments. Please remember to practice using your NRG’s name and then your block/cluster/zone numbers
for your radio call signs during the March drill and your routine radio tests.

§ DEFENSIBLE SPACE PROJECT PARTICIPATION: Please make every effort to continue engaging residents
in clearance activities during the coming months. Refer to this downloadable informational flyer to help you
