CAN YOU HELP..??

Our valued band of volunteers who deliver The Drift to you are in need of some assistance in
order that you the readers continue to receive further issues through your letterbox!
Due to sickness, holidays and moving home there are occasions when some of our
deliverers are doing more than their specified round and this can become a burden on
some shoulders who are prepared to help out. There are at least two rounds available
with other areas needing to be covered on an emergency/standby basis. The rounds are
not all arduous and despite the logo used here some are small in number. You are able to
distribute the copies at times more or less to suit you, although of course people are
anxiously awaiting their copy to appear once they are printed and ready for collection.
We are concerned that some rounds may not be covered in the future and therefore this is
a plea to you, the residents of Tatworth & Forton for help. If you would like to know more
or offer help either full time or on a reserve basis, then please contact the Editor, Robin
Munday any time after 1st March 2020 when preparations for the next edition will be
underway. Delivery would be required around the end of March/start of April.

Thank you in anticipation of your assistance - remember a walk is one of the best medicines and hopefully you can
enjoy our village and perhaps meet some neighbours on the way and make new friends!

Car Parking at The Memorial Hall!

Car parking continues to be a problem for hall users who
have paid to use the facilities. The Hall grounds and car
park are private property and only those using the Hall are
permitted to use the car-park. If you park at the Hall for
any other reason (like visiting near-by relatives) you are
parking illegally and the Hall Committee will assume that
your vehicle has been abandoned and will arrange for it to
be towed away. It is not a public car park!
