EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR SUPPLY OF ROAD GRAVEL

The County, through the Department of Transport, Public Works, Infrastructure and Energy wishes to get
supplies of road gravel sourced from Othaya, Mukurwe-ini, Kieni East, Kieni West, Nyeri Town, Tetu,
Mathira East and Mathira West sub counties in Nyeri County.

The County Government of Nyeri invites bidders to express interest for supply of gravel at least 5000
cubic meter of gravel per annum as and when required.

The bidder should provide the following:

1. Certificate of incorporation /registration and/or partnership deed

2. PIN certificate
3. Valid tax compliance certificate
4. Valid business permit
5. Detailed company profile
6. CR12 form/list of directors
7. Proof of ownership/lease
8. Evidence of financial capacity for the project
9. Annual financial reports for last three financial years
10. Certificate of registration with relevant regulatory authorities eg NEMA
11. Confidential business questionnaire
12. Certificate issued by MTRD (Materials Testing & Research Division)

Complete tender documents MUST be submitted through the IFMIS SUPPLIER PORTAL:
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke (NEGOTIATION NUMBER 754791-2019/2020) so as to be
received on or before the date and time indicated below. Bidders MUST also submit their bid enclosed
in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked, with tender name and tender number as follows: EXPRESSION
OF INTEREST FOR SUPPLY OF ROAD GRAVEL CGN/EOI/INFRA /275/2019-2020 and addressed

The Bids should be deposited in the tender Box situated on the ground floor, Governor’s office, so as
to be received on or before 11th November 2019 at 11:00 AM Bids will be opened thereafter in the
presence of bidders or their representatives in the County Secretary’s boardroom. Late bids will not
be accepted.
