TEACHING EXPERIENCE
STUDENT TEACHING | 1ST GRADE (SIOUX VALLEY) | 2020- CONTINUING
· During my 1st grade student teaching position, I am working with a group of 20 students with 7 of these students
being on behavior plans. Within my student teaching, I have worked with small groups and added an intervention
piece to our reading and math times. I also worked with our MobyMax program to get it running effectively.
STUDENT TEACHING | JUNIOR KINDERGARDEN (SIOUX VALLEY) | 2019
· In Junior Kindergarten I worked with a range of students who had multiple different needs. I learned different
behavior plans and the patience it takes to work with students who are just staring school.
LEVEL III EXPERIENCE | 4TH GRADE (MADISON, SD) | 2019
· During my level three experience, I spent multiple hours observing a 4th grade teacher as well as teaching five
lessons during a two-week span.
DIBELS ASSESSMENT | ST. THOMAS ELEMENTARY (MADISON, SD) | 2019
· During this time, I worked with a group of three students and assessed them using the Dibels Testing system.
READING PRACTICUM | 5TH GRADE (MADISON, SD) | 2018
· During this practicum I observed a 5th grade class and taught a small group reading lesson.
MIDDLE SCHOOL PRACTICUM | 6TH GRADE (MADISON, SD) | 2018
· Throughout this observation I observed a math and science class where I learned multiple teaching strategies
while interacting with the students.
DIBELS- TEACHING | K-1ST GRADE (MADISON, SD) | 2018
· During this observation I created five lessons plans that I taught with another teacher. I also gave the Dibels
assessment to these students.

· During this observation I observed a middle school math teacher and talked to multiple students about their
thoughts on middle school.
