Getting Started 2.1 Installing the battery 1. Open the battery cover 2. Put battery into the battery slot. Keep three metal points of battery facing downward and matching metal connection points on phone. 2.2 Inserting / Removing SIM Card 1. Inserting SIM card: Remove battery card with the metal part facing downward by following below arrow direction, 2.3 Inserting / Removing Memory Card 1. Please slide the metal slot fram “open * direction, put the Micro SD card inside the card slot. If no one answer the call after dialing all the emergency numbers, the mobile phone will send an SMS to all the 5 emergency SOS numbers. When any emergency number pickup the phone or call, the phone will be automaticaly transferred to hands free status. 12. 2.9.2 Emergency SOS message You can set emergency message in “Message-Emergenoy. The default message is “Emergency call, please call me". Afterall process the phone will return to normal status again. 2.10 LED Indicator This mobile phone has 2 indicators light, one is red and another is green color. 1. Green light wil flash when you get incoming call and during a call, It will also light when there is any Missed call 2. Red light will flash to remind low battery status. 3. Both green and red light will lash under SOS emergency status. 13. 3. Message 3.1 New Message After entering New message, press lett soft key to access options: Send Message, Input method, Insert template, Advanced, Save to Drafts. 3.1.1 Send Messages Enter the number of the person or Add the contact from phone book,then press left sott key to Send the message or can also perform following Options: Send and save, end, Edit recipient,Remove recipient,Remove all recipients or Save to Drafts 3.4.2 Input method Select the Input method for typing the message from Upper case,Lower case,First alphabet Upper case, Hindi language, Numeric input and for Inserting Symbols. 3.1.3 Insert template. To insert the predefined Mesaages in the text message. 3.4.4 Advanced To insert the number or Name trom the phone book 3.1.5 Save to Drafts, To keep unsent and edited messages in Draftbox, 3.2 Voice Message Enter voice message record interface. Press “Start” to start the voice record, you can also pause the recording, After finishing the record, press “Send' to edit recipient number or select contact number from phonebook. You can also choose “Save to Drafts” to send the recording later. Note: This service will require support from Network service provider. 14 3.3 Inbox After entering the Inbox, press Up/Down navigation keys to select messages. Press OK to check the message, and press Left Soft key to access Options: ~ Reply: Reply Sms to the sender - Gall sender: Call the sender of the message. + Forward: You can forward the selected message to others. - Delete: Delete the selected the message. + Delete all: Delete all the messages of inbox = Use Number: You can use the senders number or any number in the SMS and call them or send message or save the number to your Phonebook 3.4 Outbox Checks the information of unsuccessfully sent messages in outbox. Access the following options - Forward: To send the selected message. - Delete: Delete the selected the message. = Delete all: Delete all the messages of inbox - Use Number: You can use the senders number or any number in the SMS and call them or send message or save the number to your Phonebook - Drafts: You can save unsent and edit incomplete messages in draftbox. Press left soft key to access following options: - Send: To send the message - Edit: To Edit the message. - Delete: Delete the selected the message. = Delete all: Delete all the messages of inbox - Use Number: You can use the senders number or any number in the SMS and call them or send message or save the number to your Phonebook. 5. 3.5 Templates Templates shows 5 pre-edited messages and you can use it in text messages. Also you can editor delete them. 3.6 Delete ‘You can use this option to delete all the messages in your phone. You can also select to delete only Inbox, Outbox and Drafts. 3.7 MMS - New message to create new MMS. Please choose item “Edit content” to edit your new MMS. 1, To select “Options” to choose add text, picture, audio or attachment. 2. To edit sending number or select number from phonebook, you can choose to copy this MMS to other number in contact lst. 3. MMS need local operator support; you can choose MMS settings ->Profiles to select operator from list. 3.8 Broadcast Message Broadcast public information sent by the network providers. By using Cell Broadcast service, you can receive information on various subjects from network provider. For more available information, please contact your local network service providers. - Receive mode: Choose to OrvOff the broadcasting - Read Message: Read the messages received. ~ Language: Set different languages from available options ~ Channel settings: Set the channel to receive the area message. You can add the channel index and channel name. 3.9 Voice Mail This phone supports the function of the voice mailbox. When you receive the calls from others, they could give you a message in your voice mailbox. When your mobile receives the message notice, you could listen to the messages. 3.10 Emergency You can set the text message for emergency SOS function. The default message is “Emergency call, please call me.” 16. 3.11 Preferred storage Set the default storage path from SIM and Phone to save messages. 3.12 SMSC address To Edit the sim message centre number. 4. Call Press Dial Key to check call history under standby state. Dialed call shows all you calls out, Received call shows all your incoming calls and Missed call shows all your missed calls. The mobile will store up to 20 numbers in call history. tory 4.1 Missed Calls Display the latest Missed calls list Press OK key to view the details,or press left soft key to access following options: - Send SMS: Send SMS to the number, ~ Call: Call the Number. - View: View the information of missed call(Name ,Date,Time,and number of times the calls were missed). ~ Add to Blacklist: You can add the selected number to blacklist - Edit before call: To Edit the number before recalling the number if you wish. ~ Delete: Delete the selected number from the list. 17. 4.2 Dialled calls/Received calls Refer the function same as Missed Calls. 4.3 Delete call logs Delete the call histories of Missed calls/Dialled calls/Received calls or delete all the call histories in your phone 4.4 Talk time You can select this option to view the calls time in phone, which displays duration of the the Last call,Dialled calls and Received calls. Use Clear all option to reset all the durations to zero. 5. Phonebook This function enables you to find contacts quickly 5.1 Search Input the name you want to search and then search it in phone book to find the best match. Press left soft key to access the following options: - Send SMS: Send SMS to the selected contact. - Call: Make a call to the selected contact - View: To View the Contact details of the selected contact. - Edit: To Edit the contact details ofthe selected contact. ~ Delete: To Delete the selected contact from the lst. - Copy: Copy the selected contact to Phone or SIM. ~ Move: Move the selected contact from Phone to SIM or from SIM to Phone - Add to Blacklist: Add the contact to Blacklist ~ Caller groups: You can view and add the contact from or to caller group out of ‘Friends’, ‘Family’, ‘VIP’, ‘Business’ and ‘Others’ You can also set Caller Picture and Caller Ringtone for these groups. 18. 5.2 New Contact Create new contact in Phone or SIM 5.3 Delete contacts Delete all the contacts from Phone And SIM memory. 5.4 Copy Contacts Copy all the contacts from Phone to SIM or from SIM to Phone memory. 5.5 Move contacts Move all the contacts from SIM to Phone or from Phone to SIM. 5.6 Caller groups Same function as Caller Group mentioned above. 5.7 Speed Dial Turn On/Off the speed dial. Set the numbers in Speed dial ist from 2 to 9. After setting, on the standby interface, Jong press the set number key to call the contact Or press * key in the standby interface to get the speed dial list. 5.8 Emergency number You can add upto 5 emergency numbers for SOS function using this option 5.9 Setting - Preferred Storage: Set the default storage path to save new contact from SIM or phone. + Storage Status: To view the memory used by contacts in Phone and SIM memory. 19, 6. Profiles User profiles define how your phone reacts when you receive a call or a message, how your keypad sounds when you press a key, and more. Each of the available profiles can be left at their default setting or customized to suit your needs. Select and customize the most suitable profile for your situation. The available modes are General, Silent, Headset, and Bluetooth. Note: The phone automatically switches to the headset mode when the earphone is plugged in; it restores to the original mode when the earphone is unplugged. - Press key “#'” in standby status will switch to silent mode; pressing and holding it again will restore to the general mode, 7. Settings 7.1 Phone Settings + Date &Time: You can set date and time and their Formats. + Display: You can change the Wallpaper Themes LCD backlight setting and Clock display On/Off. + Language: To set the default phone language to English or Hindi + Schedule Power on/off: You can schedule automatic power On/Off for mobile phone + Shortcuts Settings: You can set the blue button shortcut function. You can select from Birthday reminder, Calculator, Calendar, Bluetooth, Alarm and FM radio. By default, the function of Blue button is Bluetooth + Flight mode: To change the work mode of the phone from Normal mode to Flight. 7.2 Call settings Call waiting: After you choose Activate, the mobile phone will contact the network. A moment later, the network will make a response and send a message to acknowledge your operation. If the call waiting function is activated, the network will alert you and the mobile phone screen will display the incoming call number if others are calling you while you are already in conversation. You can also check the current status of call waiting through Query Status option. 20. 7.3 Call Divert Divert your calls to other number or voice mail. Under the following options: + Divert all voice calls: All the voice calls will be unconditionally diverted, + Divert if Unreachable: If your network is not reachable, your call will be diverted. + Divert If No answer: Call wll be diverted if not answered by you. + Divert if Busy: Calls will be diverted it your number will be busy. + Divert all data calls: All the data cals will be unconditionally diverted. + Cancel all Diverts: Cancel all the call divert settings 7.4 Call barring All outgoing calls, incoming calls, roaming incoming calls, international outgoing calls, roaming international outgoing calls are available can be barred using this setting. + All outgoing calls: Starting up this function will bar all outgoing calls. + All International Outgoing: Starting up this function will bar all international outgoing calls. + All International calls except to home PLMM: Starting up this function will bar al international calls in Roaming except home. + All incoming calls: Starting up this function will bar all incoming calls. + All Incoming When Roaming: Starting up this function will bar al incoming calls in roaring + Cancel all call barring: Cancel all restrictions on the call + Change password of call barring: You can consutt with your network operator for the call barring password 7.5 Advance Settings You can Select from the following available Options: + Black List: The phone cannot receive the call from the number which is added to the black list of the phone. You can add up to 20 numbers as black list. + Auto redial: Once activated, the phone will automatically redial if no answer from a number you have dialed, + Call Time Display: Turn it to ON/Off to view the call duration during a call. + Call Time Reminder: If activated, the phone will give reminder with beep sound during the call at the interval time you have set. 21 7.6 Security settings SIM lock: Set the phone to ask for your PIN code each time you start your phone (if this function is supported by your SIM card). Note: A‘ter three consecutive incorrect PIN code entries, the code will be blocked, and you need the PUK code to unblock it. To obtain the PUK, contact network operator ~ Phone lock: Phone lock can be used to lock the mobile to avoid unauthorized use. Set the phone to ask for your security code each time you start your phone. The default security code is 42255. Change password : You can change phone lock password here. 7.7 Data Account It contains “GSM Data’ and “GPRS” data account, In order to use WAP function normally, please select or give right setting Account Name, DNS, user name and password, You can also Add,Edit or Delete any of the predefined accounts. 7.8 Network settings This feature is available to operate network settings when you are roaming or travel outside. n this menu; you can select the network manually or automatically You must contact your local service provider or the roaming area before you use this function, 7.9 Keypad voice settings, This phone provides different tone including voice indication of keypad, you can choose from Silent / Click / Tone / Number Voice. 7.10 Aid Volume You can set key tone volume with volume control key “+" and “-" to adjust and set the volume level you want. 7.11 Restore factory settings You can reset some of the Phone settings to their original values in this setting using the phone lock password, The default security code is 42255, 22. 8.0 Media 8.1 Music Connect your mobile phone with USB cable to PC to move and download music fies. If you want to copy new musio to mobile phone, please save itin folder named “my music’. If you copy in other folders, phone will not be able to play music. You can use ‘5' for Play/Pause, ‘6 for Next Track and ‘4’ for Previous Track. You can also set music file as ringtone in List - Options. 8.2 Camera This function enables you to take a picture you want. Roll the phone to align the camera to the picture and then press Dial key to capture the image.. The picture will be stored in the default set path While preview, press soft lett key to select the options: Photos, Camera settings, Image Settings, White balance, Scene mode, Effect settings, Storage and restore default to set the parameters. Photos: You can view the photos you have captured Camera Settings: You can change various settings like Shutter sound, Exposure Value, Ant-Flick rate, Snapshot delay timer Image Settings: You can change the image resolution and image quality for photo capture. White Balance: You can change the modes from Auto, Daylight, Tungsten, Fluorescent, Cloudy and Incandescent. Scene Mode: You can change the scene modes from Auto and Night Effect Settings: You can change the photo effect setting from Normal, Grayscale, Sepia, Sepia green, Sepia blue and Color invent, ‘Storage: You can select the storage from Phone and Memory card to store images. Restore Default: Set all the default setting of camera mode. 23. 8.3 FM Radio Please insert headset to hear FM Radio first. You can use the file manager to conveniently manage various directories and files on the phone and the memory card. Press left soft key to perform operations like ‘Open’, ‘Format’, ‘Rename’, ‘Details’ in phone memory and memory card. You can also check the memory capacity and free memory in Phone and Memory card. 9. Tools 9.1 Alarm The Alarm clock feature sounds an alert or makes a vibration alert at the time you specify. You can set up to 4 alarms. Alarm 1: Press left soft key to edit the Alarm + Status: Set the status of Alarm1 to On/Ott + Time: Set or edit the time of Alarm. + Repeat: Repeat the alarm once, everyday or custom setting + Alert type: Set the alarm alert type to Vibration and Ring / Ring only / Vibration only. 9.2 Birthday Reminder To select subject and reminder time to add new birthday reminder list. 9.3 Calculator 1. Use up and down Key to move control line, press left soft key to confirm. 2. Press right soft key to clear data 3.* and # keys are used for minus and decimal point. 25. 9.4 Calendar Use this interface to view day and date. Press left soft key to go directly to a particular date. 9.5 Sound recorder You can record and save the recorded file. The voice recorded file during call conversation will also automatically get saved in this folder.
