Thank you for downloading my FREE Cultural Diversity Study lesson. This is a simple and innovative way to get children excited
about learning different cultures around the world. They will learn about a culture’s way of life from the music they listen to,
clothing they wear, and food they eat to what kind of shelter they have, language they speak, and climates they experience.

Some teaching suggestions are:

 Have children choose several cultures to research. (3-5)

 Compile each study page into a keepsake book/portfolio that children can go back to at any time and/or add to at a
later date.
 Supply magazines, books, articles, and papers that children can cut pictures out of to bring their study to life.
 Participate with them by doing your own research on a few cultures.
 At the end of the study, have a show-and-tell to give children an opportunity to showcase what they have researched
and learned.
 Some ideas for the “write your own” section on the chart include (but are not limited to): sports, leisure activities,
holidays, arts, religion, and education.
