Maxine Lat Calibuso also known as ‘Maxinejiji’ is a Filipino writer who
wrote one of the famous wattpad series “He’s into Her”. A woman who is
creative and gutsy enough to make such work of genius. A super brilliant,
extraordinary, and truly amazing knotty and twisted mind she has. One of the
Philippines' best authors. She made it difficult for others to copy her. Her book
suits the interest and passion of booklovers. Made her readers stick. She offered
complete package of genre. She is – quite literally- awesome. He’s into Her was
published under Life is Beautiful (LIB Creatives)/ Pastrybug which is also a part of
Precious Pages Corporation. It was published on January 2014. The genre of the
story are Fiction, Young Adult, Humor, and Comedy.
HE'S INTO HER started in a conflict. It was a purely misconception of
ones' impression to the other. A playful male character met a typically-chubby-
and-bullied-type female lead. He underestimated her- capabilities of a simple
and meek opponent and that is how their clash begun. At that very moment, he
was infatuated with another female cast of his level. She, being the mysterious
one, tried to keep her low-profile image to remain being unnoticed. He, being
the full-of-fun one continued his game of bullying her but it seemed that she
showed no interest made him annoyed and irritated. They got that far until he
was captured and smitten by her. Eventually, feelings were developed and
unleashed.
The names of the character are good. It’s not that easy to think a
name especially producing a unique and a perfect name. You will meet two
characters that will leave mark on your pretty little head, that will surely get into
our nerves and casts that will certainly play with our emotions- Taguro and
Sensui, two of the best names in Ghost Fighters. I found it very perky and funny.
And now let us meet the cast! We have Maxpein Zin Del Valle Moon also known
as “Taguro”, the target victim of Deib Lohr Enrile also known as “Sensui”, the
bully. Zarnaih Marchessa, Max’s friend who’s always there for Max. Kimeniah
Sirvey Gozon, Deib’s love interest before Max. And many more characters that
might get your attention.
The setting of the story also helps it to become more interesting. We
have the Brint International School (BIS), a school where Deib, Max, Kim, Naih
and other characters go. We also have South International School, the former
school of Naih and Max. They are also working in The Barb. The settings also get
my attention because it’s so unique, I didn’t hear any place like this in real
world. And I couldn’t help but to imagine that this place is existing. And I’m
wishing that to be happen because I will surely go to that place I’m dreaming to
go for.
The story line was so good too. Especially Maxpein’s line “You’ll die if I
tell you”. I found it cool because the line looks like threatening you. It’s just a
simple line yet a meaningful one. "Nobody deserves to be hurt. But someone
can hurt you more than you deserve because you loved them more than they
deserve". It’s also a line from Maxpein and its awakened everyone who’s
hurting. The story lines also amused me because every line has a deep meaning.
Those lines help me to feel the story, it makes me sad, happy, mad, afraid,
surprise and so many more emotions because of the lines made by the amazing
author.
I rate it ten over ten, because it’s just the story that I’ve read with a
different theme, genre, characters, etc. It’s really a unique one because not like
other stories that all about a damsel in distress, knight in shining armor, etc. This is
not a fairy tale, no fairy God Mother, no Princes and Princesses, just Taguro and
Sensui.
The author wants us to felt the heaviness, joy, agony, and the love just
like what character’s felt. She succeeds because we really felt it because of the
story flows. She knows how to makes us cry, happy, surprised, mad, etc.
I recommend this book for teenagers who want something different or
unique. If you want something new then you must try this book, it will surely
amuse you and there are so many thoughts you can learn. It’s too long but trust
me, it’s so worth it to read and you will ask for more seasons. I hope that you
guys will also have the feels – that roller coaster ride of emotions that I felt, feel,
and will feel as I continue to embrace this story.
Every chapter of this story is totally MUST SEE. It is not an act of
favoritism. I promise you, every part of this will surprise you, will amaze you, will
make you happy or sad, and will make you feel excited for the upcoming
chapters. If I will describe this story, it’s the BEST and MAGNIFICENT story ever.
