SUBJECT : REQUEST TO UNDERGO PROCUREMENT TRAINING

Procurement has been a considerable and indispensable activity of the

Bureau. Governing public procurement is of course, R.A. No. 9184, its implementing
rules and regulations and other allied rules issued by the Government Procurement
Policy Board. While the said law boasts of being rationalized aiming to reform the
process’s incommodiousness, the public procurement system undeniably remains to
be intricate. Hence, the undersigned senses the need to undergo a procurement
training.

In the context of office operations, the training will expand my understanding

of the law, which in turn, will enable me to respond to various inquiries, concerns,
and even complications arising from the procurement process. This may also lead to
formulation of new mechanisms to ease the process and to ensure compliance with
laws, rules, and regulations relevant to procurement.
