Dear Sir,

I am Randy Thomas, 65 years old, American Citizen, and Married to Helen Ubatay Reyes, 52
years old, Filipino Citizen, would like to request that I be granted a Six (6) month extension of
my extended visa because I am in the process of availing a Permanent Resident Visa under the
Philippine Immigration Act of 1940, Section 13(a). However, as per the Philippine Statistics
Authority (PSA), I can only get a PSA Marriage Certificate after one year from the date of our
marriage, thus I cannot meet the documentary requirement at this time as my wife and I got
married on October 10, 2018 at the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines.

Upon release of the PSA Marriage Certificate, I will apply for permanent residency and the
extension will allow me to avoid unnecessary fees by doing two month renewals.

We are hoping for your consideration on the matter. We have attached a copy of my ACR and
Local Registrar Marriage Certificate for your reference.

Best regards,

Randy Thomas
