1 Overview
"AutoID Terminal" is a piece of software that is used to communicate with a code
reader.
You can use the following functions:
• Checking the read data of the code reader
(1) Menu bar
• Sending commands to the code reader

Connect Start communication.

Read data Exit Exit AutoID Terminal.

Terminal Read data
Line Feed Code Specify how to handle line feed codes when sending data to the
Send command (Send) connection destination device.

Line Feed Code Specify how to handle line feed codes when receiving data from the
(Receive) connection destination device.
Specify the data display method.
Data Display * When viewing data that includes control characters, select
Operating Environment "Binary."
Language Change the AutoID Terminal display language.

2 Starting and Exiting the LOFF

When sending commands, you can send control characters by enclosing

(3) Communication history
Starting the Software
Save the details of the communication history to a text file.
1 Start "AutoID Terminal." Log When you save the communication history, first specify the save
destination, and then perform communication.
Clear Delete the entire displayed communication history.

2 Select the communication interface, and then enter the

communication settings of the connection destination.

Exiting the Software

1 Click the following button.
