Observation Statement

Many of the students in the class are quiet and don’t say much before class starts.

Some of them come in with their headphones on listening to music. It is a morning

class so a lot of them have coffee cups with them and some students bring water too.

The style that many of the students sport is athletic and casual wear, these students

are looking to be more comfortable rather than stylish. Most of the students are

wearing jackets, or hoodies or at least bringing them in and taking them off. The

seasons are transitioning so their seasonal styles are transitioning as well too

summer fashion is turning into fall trends. The girls do wear a little bit of makeup

but they mostly focus on hairstyles. There is a lot of diversity in hairstyles and a lot

of the girls in this class have one style one day and changes it for the next class

period.
