Halliday states that children were the first to speak the language and share his/her
experiences they intend to share that certain experience to the person that is with them.

Halliday also observes that children from 1 year and 9 months to 2 years and 4
months learn to ask people the things that they do not understand and it is a complex
operation which involves language to give a useful idea makes the child new language by
itself.

I agree to Halliday observation of language learning because as a mother of a

toddler I experience the stage of where my daughter ask questions and after I answer it
she will try to ask a follow-up question and as a mother, I tried my best to answer it in a
way that she will understand. I also experience the emergence of information where
when her grandparents ask her where she went she will face me and tell me what she has
experience when we were outside.
