Objective: I can understand the purpose (the how and why) behind why authors select certain
JADED SHRIMPS to include in their writing by thinking like an author while creating an
advertising campaign for a fictional product.
Success Criteria:
In groups, you will create a product (food/cooking, shoes, clothing, technological, automobile,
entertainment, musical, app, etc) that is school appropriate. You will then create an advertising
campaign using the “Advertising Campaign Graphic Organizer” together. Finally, you will create
your digital advertisement and present it to the class, trying to sell them the product you have
created.
Grading:
● Advertising Campaign Graphic Organizer (15 points)
● Digital Advertisement (20 points)
● Presentation to Class (10 points)
● An individual PACT score
Timeline:
● Day One: Create Product and Complete the Advertising
Campaign Graphic Organizer
● Day Two: Digital Advertisement Creation
● Day Three: 20 minutes of Final Touches and
Presentations
