Dear Sir,

Good day.

Received your message regarding feedback of owner, Alpha Lubricating setting procedure and
guidance for correct feed rate and additional items to be check and observe well noted.

a. Regarding cylinder oil feed rate we base only the ACC factor 0.34, the sulphur content setting to meet

1.0 g/kWh initial setting after changed over of fuel from HSFO to VLSFO, which is we set in 3.0 sulphur

and the feed rate as ACC factor is 1.02 but we oversight to check the actual calculation of feed rate

base on ACC factor setting within 24 hrs. basis. So next time every time before we adjust cylinder oil

feed we will inform you our plan and setting base on actual observation after routine inspection of

piston, piston ring and liner condition to avoid same trouble. Before shifting we will increase feed rate

to maximum ACC setting 1.19 g/kWh as temporary counter measure.

b. Pls. see below photos of Cyl. No. 4 liner scavenging port sharpness edge.

We will follows other items after opened up piston for your reference
