Hypothalamus- releases hormones
and regulates eating, drinking, and
body temperature

Amygdala- regulates fear and anger

Pituitary Gland- secretes hormones


into the blood stream

Sensory- processes signals for touch,


pain, and temperature

Motor- generates neural impulses that


control movement

Frontal Lobe- involved in problem


solving, memory, language, judgement,
impulse control, and social behaviors
Parietal Lobe- involved in sensation,
perception, and cognition

Occipital Lobe- processes visual


information from the retinas

Temporal Lobe- involved in auditory


perception

Cerebral Cortex- involved in information


processing and divides into four lobes

Corpus Callosum- connects the left


and right hemispheres of the brain
