As our vision reiterates, we are counting on each one of you to take part in our march towards a progressive Philippines. We are hoping that the necessary attitude, desirable values and critical skills expected of you are now part of your system to serve as your compass in navigating your way towards your life’s goals. We are confident that through relentless nurturing, honing and mentoring, your heart is ablaze with patriotism to be the kind of person that our society direly needs at present and in the future. ‘Truly, we see you all as the embodiment and fulfilment of our shared vision! The diploma or certificate that you receive today is your passport to the next step forward. We join your family in this day’s celebration! We salute you for hurdling years of basic education. Congratulations to you, your family and your support system! My sincere gratitude and my felicitations, too, to our educational leaders and staff in the Division, our school heads, our teachers and all our magnanimous stakeholders who have proven, time and again, that, indeed, ‘it takes a village to educate a child’. Our hearts are overflowing with joy and beaming with pride in this feat that we all have painstakingly and concertedly achieved! In the midst of challenges unique to this milieu and with the multifarious kinds of learners in our schools as reflected in this year’s theme, “Unity in Diversity: Quality Education for All”, our Graduates and Completers are equipped with competencies required for the 21* century learners who are geared towards higher education, small- scale business venture and to the nation’s workforce.
