Keeping in line with its India plan, on January 17, 2020, Great Wall Motors and
General Motors signed an agreement to acquire the General Motors India‘s
TaIegaon factory. This transaction will lay an important foundation for Great Wall
Motors entry in and the acquisition will be completed In the second half of 2020.
Great Wall Motors will commence the production of EVs and SUV models under
Great Wall at this plant.
