Step 1: Generating MS ID

1. Create an email account at www.outlook.com

2. Visit: https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/exam-list.aspx

3. Select any exam from the list (example: 70-486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications)
4. Click Schedule exam
5. Sign in with outlook user name and password (outlook email).

6. Write your Name as per the certification and fill-up other field. Job function must be
“Student”

7. Save profile.
8. In register your exam confirm your Name and address, Phone and save profile.
9. Next you will find the following information:

10. Click Submit

11. You will find your MS ID at right side of the window.

12. Write your MS ID for future use also inform to your Instructor and Technical contact
Step 2: Get verified as a Student.

1. Login on http://mcp.microsoft.com with your outlook account.

2. Click account Setting>Edit Profile
3. Job Function>Student>Get verified
4. Click “I Can supply documentation.”
Write the following information. Attached the scan copy of your ID Card (Provided by IDB-
BISEW). Please use individual’s outlook email account at Email Address field. Also write the
comment as following.
Country: Bangladesh
Name on Evidence: ID card
School type: Undefined
School Name: IDB-BISEW IT Scholarship.
Comments: I am a student of IDB-BISEW IT Scholarship Project. This scholarship project for
underprivileged youths in Bangladesh. Please verify my academic status as student.
Email: your outlook email.

5. Click Submit
6. A verification email will be sent on students outlook email within 24 hours
7. If you received the verification email, Click the link and login with the outlook account. (if
other outlook account already login must be logout)
8. Student verification will be updated.
