Quick Collard Green Sauté
Ingredients: Directions:
-Wash collard greens and remove the

2 Tbsp Olive Oil -Stack 6 to 8 leaves on top of one
another, roll up, and slice into ½ inch
3 Cloves Garlic, Minced thick slices.
-Heat a large sauté pan over medium high
½ Tsp Red Pepper Flakes heat and add the olive oil.
-Once hot, add the garlic and red pepper
Pinch of Salt & Ground Black Pepper flakes. Add the collard greens and cook
until bright green (4 min). Add salt and
¼ Cup Chicken Broth pepper. Stir in the chicken broth and
cook until the liquid evaporates (2 min).

In a medium bowl, combine oil, onion
powder, and salt.

Add potato sticks and turn to coat
Turnip Greens are rich in many nutrients such Vitamin A and Iron
that can enhance health and prevent diseases!
The root part of the plant is high in Vitamin C and the greens
are very high in Vitamin A, C, E, and B6.

Simply Southern Turnip Greens
Ingredients: Directions:
1 bunch of Fresh Turnip Greens -Remove and discard stems and
discolored spots from greens. Wash
thoroughly, drain, and tear greens into
1 lb Salt Pork or Smoked Pork Shoulder pieces.
-Slice Salt Pork at ¼ intervals, cutting to,
but not through, the skin.
3 Quarts of Water -Combine Salt Pork, 3 quarts of water,
pepper, and sugar, if desired, in a Dutch
Oven. Bring mixture to a boil, cover,
¼ Tsp of Ground Black Pepper reduce heat, and simmer for an hour.
-Add greens and cook, uncovered, for
about 30 to 35 minutes or until tender.
2 Tsp of Sugar (Optional) Serve with a slotted spoon.
