The Human Resources Department provides a strategic
and coherent approach to the support and development of the Hospital’s most important asset – it’s staf and management. We are committed to ensure that the culture, style and structure of the Hospital and the quality and commitment of staff, contribute to continuously improving patient careand make a real difference to those we serve together. The HR function is working to deliver on the Hospital HR Strategy and Action Plan which was finalised in 2007 and focuses on six key themes, which represent the major challenges ahead of us all for the next few years and beyond.
The six key themes are as follows:
Attracting and Retaining the Best Changing and Developing the Organisation Continuously Improving Human Resources in St. Vincent’s University Hospital Engaging and Communicating Supporting Hospital Performance Scanning and Planning We are part of the St. Vincent’s Healthcare Group and work in collaboration with our two Sister Hospitals St. Vincent’s Private Hospital and St. Michael’s Hospital on HR initiatives and projects, which are of benefit to the Healthcare Group as a whole. The Group HR Strategy emphasises the core values and guiding principles of the Group’s HR function.
Hours of Service: 09.00hrs – 17.00hrs (open through lunch)
