Abstract

state law. Gambling is defined in numerous ways, but requires betting or wagering
win something.
Illegal Gambling has effects to the gambler such as anxiety and depression,
suicide risk, and both medical (loss of sleep and high blood pressure) and financial
problems (lost their homes and everything else they own). Gamblers sometimes
don't know where to stop, and can lose everything if they become addicted.
Gambling addictions can lead to other serious effects, including loss of jobs,
failed relationship, and severe debt. Gambling has also resulted in economic cost,
such costs include demand for more public infrastructure or services and increased
crimes.
This paper aims to know the impact of illegal gambling to the Philippines.
