Metering requirements

The above listed meters order number might be changed according to the availability of two
communication ports inside the provided meters, the first Ethernet Port shall be dedicated for
NEPCO AMR System and the second port will be dedicated for the project company billing
purposes.

2- Software packages suitable for remote billing system.

3- billing system for monthly issuance of the bill the billing system shall issue the bill for
the month starting from 00:00 midnight beginning of the month to the 24:00 end of the
month, and the system DST ( Day Light Saving Time ) shall be configurable and accept
Amman time zone and support the switching from winter to summer time zone and vice
versa , also the billing system shall extract the data from the meter load profile not from
the DSC to avoid any communication failure;

4- Four High performance layer 3 Ethernet switch with 110 V dc ±10% power supply, to
connect the energy meters through the data network according to the design and
requirements. The supplied Ethernet switch shall be approved, maintained, operated, and
controlled by NEPCO.

5- The preferred connection as below
