REFLECTION

In the retreat I’ve learned so many such things and not just learned but also
realized of what really retreat is. I thought retreat is just only listening to the
speaker but it’s about realizing what the speaker was trying to tell us. In the
retreat the best quote that I’ve remembered was “Be kind to others even if
they’re not to you”, In that quote I’ve learned that you must be kind to everyone
even you never received a return from them because all of us is not in the same
situation and state of life and we don’t know what battles everyone are going
through so even though they are not kind to us we should always bring the
kindness in our hearts even just a little so that we could not hurt the feelings of
others. We should not base on what kind of attitude they show to us because we
don’t know what the story behind that they had experience that made them to be
the person they are right now. Father Ronald made us realized that even though
to our bestfriends we always have the things we don’t like about them because
that what true friends are. Even though you saw the bad things in them all their
flaws and imperfections but still you at the the good in them and you stayed
with them no matter what they are. All the times we are there I always felt the
tears dropping from eyes. Hearing different kind of stories, experience, feelings,
and thoughts from them made me got to know them more and closer to them. It
was great experience because not just only the learnings I’ve learned but also
the things I’ve realized. Learnings goes to the mind but realizations will always
be treasured in your hearts.
