I have been studying English for 6 years.

I started when I was in high school,

but never got too serious; then I decided to improve my English, and I have
studied at ICPNA in Miraflores. Now, I’m studying at ICPNA in Surco because
It’s near my house and my university. I’m in Grammar course, it means I
could finish in this year but my studies at ICPNA have been irregular,
sometimes I have to stop because my schedule is overloaded; but I want to
finish my studies at ICPNA as soon as possible.
My English ability has been improving gradually. I consider to learn another
language is amazing; but, at the beginning, the most difficult part to me was
listening, for that reason, I used to listen a lot of music in English and I paid
attention to the lyrics, also I have been watching TV in English but using
subtitles in the same language, in that way I can recognize words and
phrases, I have read articles and some books in English, that a good way to
improve my vocabulary.
I think Grammar course is very important, because each language has
different structure and rules; probably not only in English, for example,
many people speaks Spanish as their first language but also they don’t know
the correct grammar, the same is in English. For this reason by the time I
was in advance 1, I had started checking some grammar notes. This month,
I discovered that the best form that I learn grammar is with examples and
exercises that help me a lot.
