[Antonio’s soliloquy]

Antonio: The all power of this kingdom in my hand. I am handling all the issues of this kingdom

Soldiers… soldiers… Soldiers

[Soldiers come in front him]

Antonio: Till now you are the enemy of Milan but if you help me to be succeed in my plane.

Antonio: I want to take the thorn of Milan replacing and banished your enemy Prospero the
Duke of Milan. I need your support and help to make this plane true.
Alonso: Oh it’s a good idea. I will help you by hook or by crook. Let’s go…..

[At the dark night Alonso, Antonio, Sebastian and some soldiers of them
attack on Prospero and banished him with his daughter and a boat without
rudder]

[At the meantime, Gonzalo helped Prospero by giving some foods and magic
books of Prospero]

Gonzalo: My lord please forgive me, I could not do anything for you. Please take these foods
and books. Escaping from Antonio and other enemy I manage these little things.
Prospero: Oh my faithful councilor, my friend I will remember your help till my last breath.
Gonzalo: God will protect you and your daughter. Good bye my lord.

[After 12 years –The Tempest begin, a ship wrecked where was Antonio,
Alonso, Sebastian, Ferdinand]
 [Miranda seeing this tempest and wrecking the ship]
Miranda: Father, if this tempest done by you, please stop it. I cannot tolerate it. I can feel their
pain as my pain.
Prospero: Oh my dear, I have done these things for you. Ok, I am helping them to reach at my
Island.
Miranda: But father what is the reason for this tempest?
Prospero: My child 12 years ago your uncle Antonio (Present Duke), Alonso king of Naples
conspired against me and banished me with my little child that means you. So, I wanted to take
revenge.
Miranda: Oh! I am a princess of Milan and you are the Duke!
Prospero: Yes my daughter.

[Exit both of them and come Prospero alone]

Prospero: Ariel … Ariel… my slave come here.
Ariel: Sir, I am here. To impress you, today I include my power to strong the storm to wreck the
ship. Master, I have heard all your commands. Now it’s time to keep your promise.
Prospero: What you want?
Ariel: My liberty
Prospero: Do you forget that how I had rescued you from the pine tree, where Sycorax, a
witched, mother of Caliban imprisoned you. Although she had died some years later of your
imprisoned. If you do not want to obey my command I will imprisoned in oak tree for 12
winters. But if you obey my command, I will free thee in 2 days.
Ariel: Oh my lord, my master I will obey you, I have to obey you.
Prospero: Ok, go and bring Ferdinand close to us.
Ariel: Ok my master.

[Exit Ariel]
Prospero: Caliban where are you? Come fast.
Caliban: Why you are calling me?
Prospero: Go and find some foods and woods for us.
Caliban: I am not your slave. This Island is mine. I made you familiar with the all parts of this
Island and told everything about this. Now you dominating me!
Miranda: Hey slave, do not forget that I took the pain to teach you my language and culture.
Caliban: Yes I learn your language to curse thee.
Prospero: Do not forget I can banish you .So, go and follow my command.
Caliban: Huh…..

[Enter Ariel (invisible) with Ferdinand]
Ferdinand: Where are the other people? My father king of Naples!
Ariel: Ferdinand … Ferdinand…
Ferdinand: Who are you? Please come front …
Arial: I am here! Here! Here! (Singing a song)... If you want to alive, just follow me…
Miranda: (walking and seeing Ferdinand) heavenly creature. How beautiful he is!

[Enter Prospero]

[Exit Miranda and Ferdinand]

Ariel: I can do everything for my liberty master. Command me what I have to do next.
Prospero: Go and find out Sebastian and Alonso and make realization in Sebastian’s mind that if
he kills Alonso he would be the next king of Naples.
Ariel: Ok my Master.
[Exit Ariel]
Sebastian: If I kill Alonso in his sleeping, it will be easy for me to be the king of Naples.
Alonso :( woke up) Sebastian! What are you doing? Oh heaven! How can you do that! Now I am
understand how Prospero right Duke of Milan felt when he was banished by his brother.
Sebastian: Oh my brother forgive me! I do not know what happened with me! Why I become so

Alonso: Ok. I can understand you.
Antonio: Oh god please help me. Please safe my life. Today I am understanding what evil done
by me. How my brother Prospero and his daughter suffered after banishing by me. Are they
alive?
Alonso: (after hearing Antonio’s voice) Oh Antonio you are alive!

[Enter Prospero with Miranda and Ferdinand]

Prospero: Yes, everybody alive and safe.
Alonso and Sebastian: Oh! Prospero you, you are alive!
Antonio: Oh my Brother you! You are alive!
Prospero: Yes I am alive and also my daughter and this is my Island. I bring you all here with
the help of my magical power.
Antonio and Sebastian: Please forgive us. We have understand our fault. Please Prospero please
forgive us and safe us.
Prospero: Okay. I forgive you all and declaring that with Ferdinand the prince and next king of
Naples and I will give my daughter Miranda the princess of Milan as queen of Ferdinand.

[Prospero give the liberty and the kingdom of Island to Ariel. Everybody are clapping and
the drama end]
