Software is a collection of command or program which commanding a computer to do such

specific tasks or activities that benefit the users. It also refers to applications and programs that run on a
device. It is used by many especially offices, schools and others to do their things such as encoding,
marketing, reporting, enlisting, discussion purposes, attendance and more. In Baliuag University, there
are volume of software’s that is use in every department. As we go around and asked them what the
software they are using are, some answered but some said it’s confidential. This are the list of application
software that are being gathered and used in every department of our school:

1. Admissions Office

 Photoshop- they are using this kind of software to create a much more posters,
graphics, and images for the school campaigns.
 Premiere- the function of this software in Admissions Office is to generate and
produce videos of our beloved school campaigns and activities.
 Outlook Mail- just like the usual role or task of MS offices, Admission Office also used
this kind of software for documentations, taking information and many more.

2. Accounting Office

 Excel- this job is use for transactions purposes.

 Osiris- they are using this kind of software for clearance checking and operations.

3. Registrar

 Osiris- this is used for enrollment and listing of students

 Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) - it is used for statistical analysis.

gender, and etc.
6. Library

 OPAC – it is their electronic version of card catalog – its purpose is to locate books
and other materials available at a library.

 TEAM VIEWER- this is used for them connect the programmer to the server.
 GOOGLE CHROME- because the Osiris and Canvas and are web based so that they
are using Google chrome to go directly to that page.
