How to get into a Four

Year college 
STEP 1:
Take the SAT/ACT
Be sure to register and take 
the ACT or SAT. Here is a list

STEP 2:
Fill out the FAFSA
Before you even apply to
college, apply for financial
aid so that you will know
what school you can afford.
Go to one of the available
FAFSA workshops, and visit 
fafsa.ed.gov
 STEP 3:
Make a College List and Talk to
your Adviser and counselor
Make a list of schools you are
interested in. Be sure to
include your target school, a
reach school, and a safety
school. For help making your

 STEP 4:
Apply!
Every application has
different requirements.
Make sure you know what
they are and ask for help if
you need it. To get started

commonapp.org
STEP 5:
Apply for Scholarships
Talk to your adviser about
available scholarships.
