I. Learning Objectives

a) Differentiate Active voice from Passive voice;
b) Identify the voice in the sentences;
c) Make a sentence of Active and Passive voice based on the picture.
d) Create a news report using the voice

Before the Lesson
A. Motivation
a) The teacher will ask the student to sing the hymn of Arellano High School

1. What do you usually use to sing a song?
Pre-Test
1. Raul presented an interesting report. (active)
2. Baseball was played by Joseph. (passive)
3. Martin removed the old paint. (active)
4. The national budget was approved by congress. (passive)
5. She cooked the breakfast. (active)
Also, The teacher will now discuss the Active and Passive voice
Guide Question
1. Does anyone has an idea or insight about the topic?
Reminders
1. Each news has only 2 (Minimum) to 3 (Maximum) Paragraph.
2. Highlight the Active and Passive voice used.
E. Assignment
a) Find any News paper at your home. Cut-out one or three news report, paste it in short
bond paper and highlight any Active or Passive voice used.
