Universal Design for Learning (UDL) PowerPoint, as a productivity tool, supports UDL in the following ways:
• Audio and Visual components are added by the student to support auditory and visual learners.
• ELL student can record in L1 language and add L1 labels to their presentation.
• Students with learning disabilities can watch their presentation or help search for pictures to provide
support for understanding of the content.

Lesson idea implementation: The teacher will go over and present her presentation to the students first,
then together the teacher and student will create each slide picking colors, pictures, font and animations to
add. Finally, students will get a chance to audio record themselves reading the text for each slide. Once
finished the students will present their slides.

Reflective Practice: To extend this lesson to a higher LoTi level student can break into small group and create
their own slide presentation to each group. This presentation can also be used in other subjects to support
learning like social studies and science. Once finished each group will present their presentation to the class.
