How to open MDM hub 9.1 and 10.

2 different version of Java
MDM Hub 9.1 needs Java 1.6 version and MDM v10.2 needs Java 1.8. once 1.8 is installed, MDM 9.1
doesn’t open as the jnlp file for 9.1 will automatically picking the higher java version when multiple
versions are available.

So to circumvent this, you can give a try by opening the JNLP file pointing to Java 6. Do the following
process:

1. From command prompt navigate to Java 6 bin folder and run below command:
javaws <jnlp file name>

From AWS if you are not able to navigate to c drive on the command prompt, please follow these steps

1. Navigate to the Java folder in your c drive on your windows explorer in AWS. Do this thru the
RUN

2. In the java bin folder paste the “siperian-console.jnlp” file.

 a. If you don’t have the jnlp file, download it through the MDM launch page by right
clicking.
b. Once pasted the file will appear as below

3. Now, from the folder open the command prompt, by doing right click in the folder while
simultaneously holding the SHIFT key.

4. You will see the option for “Open command window here”. Please click on that
5. Command prompt open for you
6. Type the command “javaws siperian-console.jnlp” and press Enter

7. After pressing Enter MDM hub will launch as below.

8. Provide the credentials and login to MDM hub
