PROGRAM PROPOSAL

Intramurals 2020

Objective
 To showcase the different festival in the Philippines.
 To showcase the creativity of the students.
MECHANICS
Festival Night has 3 categories; the junior high, the senior high and the college category.
1. Concept or theme for each contingent is left to their own interpretation of what is relevant
to the festival they represent. Costumes and performances must depict and represent the
festival clearly.
2. The organizers will produce the music that will be using by the contingent during the
presentation. Music of one contingent is different from other contingent.
3. The presentation will be done at the College Auditorium on February 5, 2019 at 7:15 pm.
4. For the junior high category, they must present 2.30 minutes (minimum) and 3 minutes
(maximum). For the senior high and college category, they must present 5 minutes
(minimum) and 8 minutes (maximum). Violation of this rule will merit ten (10) points
deduction from the total score.
5. Three-minutes will be given for the preparation of props and music for every
presentation. The performance time will start as soon as the preparation time elapses or as
soon as the contingent is ready. The official time of the presentation will end as soon as
the music stops.
6. Each contingent must have minimum members of fifteen (15) and maximum members of
thirty (30).
7. The use of religious staff, body contact of two opposite sex and flammable materials
are strictly prohibited. Any contingent who violates this rule will be disqualified.
8. Safety must be observed in execution of presentations. Injury caused by dance routines
will be the responsibility of the contingent but basic medical service will b provided by
the Health and Sanitation Committee (HSC).
9. The decision of the Judges in all categories is final. No one is allowed to question any of
their decisions. Clarifications may be done with the Organizers.

 Over-all Performance 35%
 Theme and Concept 25%
(Relevance to municipality or city`s industry
And identity as interpreted in music, dance
Movement and artistic expression)
 Choreography 20%
(Creativity and artistry of steps and formation,
Style and expression)
 Costumes 20%
(Artistic choice of color and style, effective use
of props relevant to the interpretation of theme)
