 1. THE LAKE RESORT
ABSTRACT
The goal of the thesis is to develop a design methodology for the users such
that they experience everything in the beach resort. This is a place where people can enjoy a
fascinating architectural experience. A general expectation is to create an architecture that
is well designed and fitted appropriately to conception.
By creating this a new era of beach resort will be evolved through architectural expression,
progression of space, and flexibility, and one can engage in a multitude of experiences that
amplify the senses and create memories that will last a lifetime.

AIM: -
To Design a luxurious Beach resort

OBJECTIVES: -
• The study and the design of the project aim at developing an ultimate vacation away from
• the pressure of urban life
• The development shall avoid traffic and noise weather from outside and within to interfere
• with privacy
• The construction shall be spread on ground rather than high-rise structures
• Load bearing capacity of the soil on the BEACH is taken into the account and several focus
• point of interest
• It will be a eco-friendly resort
• To attract a wide sector of people of different culture and ethnic background
• To provide mental, psychological relaxation and reviewing stress
• Idea is to emphasize on recreational spaces, entertainment, different spaces and thus
• creating a different experience
• To create a resort by integrating leisure spaces, relation space with the amenities and with
• supporting Functionalities
• By providing the best relaxation and recreational areas
• By providing a different close to nature or natural environment
• This turn as a place that offers a break from the strain of hectic life style

INTRODUCTION: -
WHAT IS RESORT
Resort is a place to spent holiday for relaxation and recreation so that, one can give
dynamism to their leisure time. Oxfords dictionary defines resort as place that is frequented
for holidays or recreation or for a particular purpose. One can go and swim in resort, can have
lunch, can go just to pass time, plan an overnight stay and lit campfire, artist can complete
their portrait, novelist can finish novel, a poet can create his poem and tourist can have
charming stay there.
A resort can function as a conference centre, as a meeting centre, as a banquette, as a
restaurant, as a health club and various other functions. A resort could be day serving
and night serving, and it provides the cuisine service.
Resort is a place where accommodation, reorientation are involved and most important. It is
a place for enjoyment which drives the mind of a visitor within a resort.
The space around it and the facilities provided for the tourist are more liable and landscaped
and from an integral part of all tourist activity area. thus a resort consist of loosely arranged
building set in a landscaped garden and taking full advantage of its scenic size and its setting.

LAKE RESORT
Lake resort include any resort located directly on or very near a lake, most travellers visit
resort to go boating, fishing, swimming, or water sking.

Scope and Limitations: -

• THE MAIN FOCUS IS ON THE PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT RATHER THAN THE
• ADMINSTRATIVE OR LEGAL ASPECTS
• DESIGN WILL BE FOCUSED ON EFFECTIVE RANGE OF WATER FRONT, CREEKS,
• LAGOONS, ORIENTATION AND TOPOGRAPHY AND CONDITIONS OF THE SITE

The site is Proposed at chandlai village, thesil chaksu , near Jaipur
SITE AREA: - 5.3 ACRE
 2. ORPHANAGE CUM OLD AGE HOME

INTRODUCTION:
Orphans living in institutional homes are more prone to behavioural and emotional
problems than others as they are deprived of a family's love and care while ageing means
giving up many things. But we often forget that ageing also means the beginning of
something new. An old saying goes: “When one door closes, another opens”. The purpose
is to open new doors concerning the housing of senior citizens with orphanage. There are
many old age homes, where many elderlies who are well educated and not very sick are
living deprived of love and alone. At the same time, there are many orphanages where
children don’t interact with, or receive love from, elders. We can build homes where
elderly people and children can live as small families, take care of one other and be loved.
The Home for orphans and Elderly is an endeavour to create space where the two groups
can live together, where one group can provide the other with what they lack. The elderly
would act as a parent while the children would be a source of happiness, someone in need,
a responsibility. The elderly could play an important role in the children's lives, likewise the
children could play an important role in lives of the elderly
AIM: To fulfil the psychological needs of orphans and elderly people by creating good living
and peaceful environment through design.
NEED OF THE PROJECT:
1. Lack of such services in unison.
2. The elderly need inclusion in a space where they are respected while children need to be
guided and loved by an elderly figure.
3. Discourage begging and other things children may possibly retort to in absence of shelter,
food and a positive guidance in life.
4. Discourage depression in the elderly.
5. Inculcate values of care and respect for the elderly in children, preparing the children of
today to create an age friendly society.
6. Help them in getting better placements for earnings.
7. Making them learn something that would help them in earning a better income, possibly
by some vocational training courses.
8. Save them from difficulties either by police or someone else.
9. Help them learn moral values.
OBJECTIVE:
❖ To understand the design of institutional home for orphans and elderly people.
❖ To understand the needs to be taken care for the medical facilities in care of the emergency.
❖ To understands the recreational facilities for both orphans and advanced years.
 3. HABITAT CENTER

INTRODUCTION
It is a centre of contemporary, economic, social and business events. The concern of habitat and its
environment works as the backbone of habitat centre. It not only provides an improved working
environment to its employees but also to contribute to the urban level functions that a living city
requires. It provides an ideal physical environment with range of facilities that would maximize the
effectiveness of the individuals and institutions, in their holistic support of habitat.
The habitat is not only home to offices and research organisations but in order to facilitate their
interactions, the centre provides a wide range of facilities like conference venues, exhibition halls,
seminar rooms, restaurants and club and performance venues for the cultural activities.
Enabling awareness, linkages and expressions
Aim
The aim of the project is to study the building design that would facilitate the public built design and
to study a design which accommodate both the rural people and foreign. The aim of the project is to
provide a functional design that ensures efficient, safe and appropriate workspaces.
Objectives
• Create clear, segregated paths for movement of people and material within the
building.
• create a humane environment for visitor and performer.
• accommodate technical requirements for highly sophisticated environment,
• generation of mixed-use environment & chance to make a landmark.
• Inculcate better awareness and sensitivity in regard to all aspects of creative
human activity including the significance of art in habitat.
