Our group has made a project report on concept & principal of management applied in
pharmaceutical industry & for which we have chosen D&C Pharma pvt.ltd
We had visited the production site at Moraiya, Ahmedabad & met Mr. Vizen
Chapani , Managing Director & asked him many questions about management processes being
held in his company. He made us aware about the strategies & planning & also provided us many
information. He had informed us that the company is Pvt. Ltd. Company & the company has its
own marketing department. The company mainly manufactures the solid dosage forms & also
produces the liquid dosage forms to some extent.
In this project report we had mention all that information given by him & from that
we learn the concepts of management which are actually applied practically.

- They used to give advertisement in news papers for any vacancy in their company .Based
on the resumes they recruit the candidate for that vacant post & organize an interview.
- On the basis of the interview conducted, they choose the best candidate fit in all criteria
demanded by that particular job.
2.2. ORIENTATION
- Now a days it is necessary to organize the orientation or socialization in all company. It
helps the new selected employee to be familiar with the company environment, rules &
regulation. The orientation program also facilitates the informal kind of interaction with
the senior employee and other employee at higher post.
- The company is used to send the orientation letter with job appointment letter thus it
helped the employee is well informed about company in advance.
2.3. TRAINING
- A new joinee has to work as a trainee for one year as per company policy.

3. GENERAL WORKING POLICY
Company has its own products in the market as well as it manufactures various products
for other companies.
The sample of manufactured product is then sent to the quality control department.
They deliver the products to the client company within the time limit as given by them.
4. MARKETING
Marketing of D N C Pharma Pvt LTD carry out by its own Marketing Department
named Ethical Pharma.
Ethical Pharma runs marketing in 7 different states which includes Gujarat, Maharashtra,
