Drill: Ice Breaker

Motivation: Would you want to be like Tuko?

A1 – Activity Proper:

1. Post a strips of sentences into board related to the topic.

2. Let pupils practice making predictions through guided sentences.

A2 – Analysis:

How can we come up to make and confirm a predictions?

A3 – Abstraction:

Discuss to class how to make predictions about the characters of a story

A4 – Application:

Let pupils work in groups on making and confirming predictions.

IV. Evaluation:

Read the story. Answer the questions about it. Refer the pupils to LM – Activity 90 on
pages 98.

V. Assignment:

Write 5 sentences using plural form of nouns ending in –y.
