1) Describe the evolution of technologies that have led to

establishment of modern network architecture of SDN? (You
should try to identify the important research works that acted
as the precursors of modern SDN technology).

2) Describe modern usage of IEEE 802.11 technology in

scenarios other than the traditional WLAN setting. Describe at
least 3 use cases.

3) For the specific case of rural area networking for enabling

global accessibility to Internet access, compare and contrast
the use of wireless mesh technology, Wi-Fi based long-
distance links, and satellite technology.
