with at least 03 year experience after training.

National Diploma in Teaching English as a Second
Language offered by the College of Education with at
 least 03 years post qualifying experience in teaching
English.
OR
Higher National Diploma in English of not less than 2
years duration offered by the Sri Lanka Institute of
Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) with at
least 03 years post qualifying experience in teaching
English.

A degree in the relevant subject or a candidate

Note 1: In addition to the salary, the allowances approved by the University Grants Commission will also be paid for
Temporary Assistant Lecturer, Temporary Instructor in English &Temporary Demonstrator

post applied for should be marked on the top left hand corner of the envelope. Applicants from the University
System/Government Departments /Corporations and Statutory Board should channel their applications through the Head
of respective Institutions, but may send an advance copy of the first instance. Illegible, incomplete and late applications
will be rejected without intimation. Only short listed applicants will be called for an interview.
