Halloween in Ecuador is influenced by the United States.

And the high est authorities don't agree to celebrate Halloween.

Since it's a foreign tradition.

And it coincides with the “El día del Escudo Nacional.

So only young people celebrate it. Doing a Partying and contests.

And not as they celebrate in the United States

They ask for sweets from house to house.

In Ecuador we have a celebration similar to Halloween. It's called "La diablada Pillareña"
