A distinctive feature of our 21st century is the intense pace of life.

According to scientists,
we began to spend half the time on meals compared to the 19th and 20th centuries. As a result,
fast food (fast food) has gained such popularity among the population.
Despite its harmfulness, fast food has a lot of advantages. The main one is the speed of
cooking. In order to have a meal it is not necessary to cook, just visit one of the fast food chains.
A wide range of dishes that will satisfy your hunger and you will get a pleasure from eating.
Also many people claim that they enjoy the taste of junk food. It is true that junk food is tasty,
and most people cannot resist the temptation of eating their favorite hamburger or French fries.
Another reason why people choose junk food is its price. Fast food is rather inexpensive so that
you don’t have to spend much money to have a quick snack.
However, this food can cause many diseases and lead to excess weight. People who eat fast
food on daily basis are more likely to suffer from diseases of the digestive system and they are
overweight. Another issue is the ingredients of junk food. It is evident that fast food contains
various chemicals in order to keep the food fresh. You do not need to be an expert to see that
most of the fast-food restaurants do not use ingredients of the highest quality.

All things considered, it is quite understandable that in today’s fast-moving world people do
not have much time for having a proper snack, it is much better to find some healthier
alternatives rather than consume junk food. Due to all the health hazards associated with junk
food, it would be even better to skip the meal and go hungry than drop at some fast food
restaurant.
