This governor is a high performance variable speed governor. AAs the hydraulic fluid is contained in the governor, piping and sub-tank installation are unnecessary when installing the governor on the engine. It is a very compact structure. The governor is driven with the bevel gear that has been installed on the cam gear of the engine. ‘The following remote controller is supplied. Type of Controller Outline of operation Governor Motor Controller When the motor operates, the speed setting screw moves vertically, and speed setting screw movement changes the set load of the speeder spring to vary engine speed. ‘The engine speed can also be changed manually in the same way by turn- ing the synchronizer knob. Please refer to attach "SERVICE MANUAL GOVERNOR MODEL RHD or UG8" for the structure and opera- tion, repair and maintenance, and adjustment of the RHD series hydraulic governor and controller. (2) When fitting the driving gear, confirm of the backlash of bevel gear, and adjust the backlash by regulating the number of shims of the bevel gear boss part. For backlash of bevel gear, refer to Section 00-09 (3) When mounting the governor, check to see if there is not any forcing tofiting of governor shaft and spline coupling.
