Instructions for Writing Report for PNGE432

Your each report should contain the following sections in order as:

1) Cover page:
 Institution name
 Department
 Name of the course
 Name of the experiment
 Experiment number
 Your name
 Group Number
 Instructor’s name
 Date of experiment

2) Objectives:

Write the objectives of the experiment as simple as possible.

3) Theory:

Present an introduction to the measured property experiment concepts. Also, current used
techniques should be discussed.

4) Procedure:

Write a brief explanation for the experiment. Include whatever you have done step by step.
Repot everything you have observed as an unusual and explain the reason. In this section
include any appropriate figure or schematic of the apparatus. Also, in this section present
you raw data and include the necessary tables.

Assign title and number to the tables and figures. Title of the figure should be located below
the figure, while the title of the table should be placed above the table with smaller font
size.

You are NOT allowed to use the manual procedure sentences in this section. If seen, no grade will
be dedicated to the report.

5) Results and Calculations:

Present your step by step calculations and engineering analysis. This section is the heart of
your report! Make sure to present it as your best.

6) Conclusions and Answering Questions:

Write down you conclusions for the experiment and answer the (possible) asked questions
due to the experiment.

7) References:

Include your references alphabetically. Following shows how to refer them in different
situations:
