‘This has reference to the proposed Senate Bill No. 740 - An Act Providing
for the Alternative Learning System of Education for Adults, Out-of-
School Youth, Members of Cultural Minorities, Indigenous People, and
Persons with Disabilities sponsored by Senator Sherwyn Gatchalian.
During the 1% public meeting on the said bill, the Committee on Basic
Education instructed the ALS Task Force to submit data on the number of
ALS passers and/or completers of CY 2015 to 2019 who are working,
enrolled in college, in a technical vocational schools, or in Senior High
School and track where they are enrolled.
In this connection, may we request your Regional ALS Focal Persons to
accomplish the attached form and advise them to submit the same through
als.taskforce@deped.gov.ph on or before November 15, 2019.
