ABSTRACT

The Global Burden of Disease (GDB) explains that kidney and urinary tract
diseases have accounted for 850,000 deaths annually, this meant was ranked the
top 12 highest-ranked mortality or disability to 17 points.Based on the data
obtained from the Register book in Space Raudhah 5 dr. Zainoel Abidin from
January s / d December 2018 there were 276 (23%) of patients who developed
kidney stones from a total of 1188 patients with renal impairment, The aim of this
studyknowinglifestyle relationship with the incidence of kidney stones in dr.
Abidin Zainoel Government of Aceh. This research is an analytic survey using
cross sectional design which was held on June 20 s / d July 3rd, 2019 in Space
Raudhah Raudhah 5 and 6 dr. Zainoel Abidin Aceh Year 2019. The study
population kidney stone patients treated in Space Raudhah 5 and Raudhah 6
dr. Zainoel Abidin Hospital as many as 73 people. A sample of 73 people with
accidental random sampling technique. Use traditional data gathering primary
data. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square, univariate and bivariate analysis
techniques. Results showed the incidence of kidney stones in a majority of
respondents in the positive category (95.89%), has a pattern of bad activity as
much as 72.6%, eating less as much as 84.9% and the pattern of poor elimination
as much as 84.9%. The results of the bivariate statistical tests, no significant
correlation between the activity patterns, diet and elimination with the incidence
of kidney stones. This study shows there is a significant relationship between the
incidence of lifestyle with kidney stones. Expected to management dr. Zainoel
Abidin Hospital especially for nurses can be informed about the importance of the
benefits and purpose of maintaining a healthy lifestyle for patients and families to
be able to come back healthy and maintain kidney of health.
