Oh Allah, thanks belong to You, You deserve all thanks.

Ya Allah, Ya ‘Alim, Ya Hakim,

Please bring us out of the darkness of doubt and favor us with the light
of comprehension,

Oh Allah open to us the doors of your mercy and unfold for us the
treasure of your knowledge by your mercy

Ya Allah Ya Fattah Ya Halim,

Let our heart be filled with light and insight, and understanding and
knowledge, verily You control everything.

We ask You for beneficial knowledge and good deeds and a strong
memory and a perfect understanding and a sound intellect by Your
mercy, O the most Merciful of the merciful ones.

O Allah, give us all the good of this world, and the good of the life
hereafter, and save us from the hell-fire.
