I am pleased to confirm preliminary acceptance of your chapter based on the abstract received
for publication in the Micro- and Nanotechnologies in Biomedical Engineering (multi volume SET 1-14) –
ELSEVIER. Attached in this e-mail you will also find the detailed author’s guidelines. You are requested
to strictly follow the author’s guideline in order to avoid unnecessary delay at the latter stage. Please
note that we accept only review chapters (that can contain also original (un)published data if available).

Each contributing chapter must contain a MINIMUM of 10,000 words without references with a
minimum of 3 illustrations (cartoons/artwork graphics) and 2 tables and should be submitted on or
before the deadline (15th November 2018) by e-mail at alex@grumezescu.com. Also, the editor strongly
recommend that your references list to contain at least 50% titles from 2012-2017. The text must be
provided electronically in Microsoft Word format (please see attached guidelines for more information).
All units should be provided in SI Units as we have a very international readership. It is the sole
responsibility of the Contributors to obtain the permission on their behalf for all figures/images and
tables they use from other papers/articles/chapters/books. I strongly recommend using original figures
(unpublished). If you intend to use published figures, for a fast and free of charge reprint permission
please use figures available on www.sciencedirect.com.
