2. Objectives
(For students)
. To look back on their own life-style and plastic usage , discuss garbage problem, and
think about what they should do to resolve this problem.
' To interact and communicate using our languages in common- Japanese (or sometimes
English and Filipino).
' To make a skit about garbage problem(especially plastic decrease) and present it.
(For teachers)
' To reconsider 21st century skills in the CJH class.
' To observe students' activities and reflect capabilities while enhancing further students'

' trip airfare and travel expenses from airport to Eurotel North EDSA,

accommodation with dinner on 28 January 2020 and food shall be provided by the Japan
Foundation, Manila. Moreover only Bohol participants will be allowed additional
accommodation only; dinner at Eurotel hotel on 31January 2020 is NOT included.

7. lmportant Reminder
. Program schedule is to be strictly observed ; everyone is strongly urged to be prompt.
. The lecture/workshop and presentation are essential - integral parts of the student
selection for the forthcoming "Japanese Speakers (JS) Forum 2020" to be held abroad
in October.
. The criteria for selection of representatives to the JS Forum abroad includes lnterpersonal
skills, lntercultural Competence, Leadership, Autonomy, Presentation skills and Creativity.

Tasks:
o To lead participant students as escorting teacher

Guidelines:
The teachers have a separate program and they will be assigned in groups. Teachers are
participants of the TEACHER PROGMM during the 3 davs (Januarv 29 to 31; please refer to
program for details). Thev will be observing students'group activities and thev are NOT to
interfere, hetp or assist anv student or group in anv wav.
The teachers are atso required to stav for the whole duration of the forum and be responsible
for the welfare of their respective students.
